RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

Haring research initiatives are in collaboration with Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (CH). Our 2 main goals are: improvement of glulam using lower grade biomass with compensation of highgrade carbon fibre and in search of structural elastic behaviour for multistorey timber structures in case of earthquake.

TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER

Haring strategy is open in its international activity to share engineering know-how as well as productional know-how. On many continents timber industralization is not yet fully developed. Haring analyses local biomass specifications and has several reference projects in Asia and Africa.

DURABILITY AND MAINTENANCE

With all and new interest of the construction industry, to use the renewable raw material wood, it is equally important to guarantee the customer a high durability of the applications. This includes planned maintenance appropriate to the building material and its exposure.
