Why bother and act sustainably in the hospitality construction sector?

On this important question, the SwissCham Climate Tech Sub-Committee together with EHL Campus (Singapore) organized a panel discussion and networking session.

Interesting impetus was provided in the contributions of Joan Plouviet (Pontiac Land Group), Catherine Loke (Lander Loke Architects) and our Singapore leader Laurent Corpataux (Häring Timber Technology).

Awareness, reduction and collaboration were highlighted as keys to a sustainable circular economy. In the valuable discussion, it emerged that innovation also has a significant role to play in driving change in the construction sector.

The fact is: timber construction is developing incredibly dynamically - and we are all part of it! Innovative building with a system is the order of the day - and we at Häring have the right solutions at hand.
