We are proud that the client, Swiss Rhine Saltworks AG, represented by the governing board of Switzerland's 26 cantons, entrusted Häring not only with the design but also with the complete execution of the project.
Saldome_2 is a Häring Ensphere timber shell structure with a diameter of 120 metres and a height of 32 metres. It provides a salt storage capacity of 105,000 tonnes, making it one of the world's largest timber dome structures for industrial storage.
